Hi! I’m Pedro MC Fernandes, a product designer in Lisbon, Portugal, dreaming about e-societies. I want to design interfaces that help people embrace technology, evolve, express creatively, and live better lives. Jump to contacts or keep reading about the work I do.
I love intuitive products, but they are hard to find because the right conditions must be met to create them. Since 2007, I have developed processes, workflows, and systems that help teams design better products.
I like how design allows creation and deconstruction of ideas to push innovation. I rely on research and evidence to help spark ideas and, through trial and error, use data as guardrails for the wildest experiments.
Experimentation is beautiful, it can lead us to unexpected but positive paths. I work on sketching, unfolding, breaking ideas down, chopping them, refining, coding, and testing smaller or bigger prototypes. Then, step back to contemplate: could this make sense to another person?
No one is an island. I aim for an inclusive and diversified view of the problems, the processes, and the solutions by onboarding more people to showcase and calling to critique, test, and share with the community.
